Assisted opening knives

Pocket folding knives are manufactured with several ways of opening, manual opening of knives with both hands, one-handed by means of a thumb pin or by means of a flipper, automatic opening of knives is performed by a button - known as automatic knives and knives with assisted opening.

Knives with opening assistance are similar in speed to opening with a automatic knife, but unlike them, assisted opening knives open with a mechanism that is activated by a thumb pin or flipper. In terms of manufacturers, the American Smith & Wesson, Kershaw Assisted Knives, Ontario, Magnum, Schrade have a rich representation.
