(33)In the past, throwing weapons were used to hunt the wild animals and in combat, spears, tomahawks, knives - throwing weapons in various forms knew the peoples on all continents. In modern times, these weapons are used for sports purposes, including knives that have undergone development. Today's throwing knives are only used for sports, hobby, for twenty years there have been championships in throwing knives. They are not intended for any other use, as ordinary knives are not used for throwing, the blade of throwing knives is not sharpened for cutting so that it is not destroyed during throwing. They are made of single piece of steel without a handle, some may have a sort of wrapping instead. The blade is single-sided, or double-sided, blunt so as not to be destroyed when thrown, with a sharp point.
