Universal kitchen knives

The universal kitchen knife does not have a specific purpose and specification, it can replace other smaller or larger kitchen knives of various shapes. As a rule, it does not even have a blade that is too long, about 15 cm. Japanese Santoku, Gyuto, Usuba knives, classic European models from Wüsthof universal knife, German Böker or Victorinox with fibrox or wooden handle can also be included in this category.

The universal kitchen knife has its place in every kitchen, it will be used if we do not have other knives at hand, but it is best to combine them with a longer and shorter blade - for example, for cleaning fruits and vegetables, boning or larding.
