Product Description
In 1947, Michail Kalashnikov introduced the AK-47 assault rifle to the Red Army. Two years later, the AK-47 became worldwide known and officially put into operation as "Awtomat Kalasshnikova obraztsa 7.62 mm 1947". In 2002, Michail Kalashnikov personally visited the Boker Manufactory in Solingen to introduce the Boker Kalashnikov series of knives to the public. Seventy years after the AK-47 was put into operation, we present an exclusive model from this series of knives as a tribute to the technical genius Kalashnikov.
The Boker Kalashnikov Duty removes all unnecessary special accessories and focuses solely on functionality and reliability in accordance with the design approach of Michail Kalashnikov. The typical bayonet-style blade of the tactical knife is deliberately made of 440C steel, which has been tested and proven for decades. Additionally, it is finely sandblasted and has a two-tone surface finish. The blade opens with a thumb stud and is secured by a robust Linerlock. The handle is CNC machined from a solid block of 6061-T6 aluminum and subsequently anodized. The handle features Cocobolo wood inlays. Of course, a clip for convenient pocket carrying and a lanyard hole are included.
