The Appalachian axes from Boker Plus are characterized by a head in the shape of Rhenish axe, made of carbon steel 1055. The steel is protected against rust by a protective coating. The universally designed blade thickness is suitable for both chopping and splitting. The handle is made of American walnut wood, which significantly surpasses European ash in flexibility and impact resistance. The hafts are secured with a wooden wedge and a steel clamp.
