Product Description
The American custom knifemaker Lucas Burnley captures the essence of Japanese Kihon with the design of the Boker Plus Kihon DC folding knife. The term Kihon traditionally refers to the fundamental principles and basic techniques of Japanese martial arts, which Burnley has translated into a practical and robust everyday knife.
The satin-finished drop-point blade crafted from D2 steel opens effortlessly with the aid of ball bearings via the detachable thumb stud, while the crossbar lock ensures intuitive, secure, and convenient unlocking of the knife. The 2.0 versions of this popular model are also ideal as a lightweight full-size EDC pocket knife, thanks to a 15% reduction in weight.
The non-slip handle featuring textured squares is constructed from high-strength GFN and fits comfortably in the hand. Blue anodized rings around the blade pivot screw and the large handle screw add a finishing touch to the Kihon. The Kihon DC 2.0 is equipped with a lanyard hole and a reversible tip-up wire clip for versatile carrying options.
