Product Description
Bowie knives originated in the USA in the early 19th century and were considered reliable work knives that were occasionally used in combat. The typical feature of these fixed-blade knives is a massive, distinctively shaped blade, usually longer than 15 cm, with a guard for hand protection. As a versatile variant suitable for everyday use, the Boker Plus Pocket Bowie by Chuck Gedraitis combines the charm of a Bowie knife with the flexibility and compactness of a pocket knife.
The blade is made of D2 tool steel with a satin finish. The knife opens with a blade disk and is held in the open position by a linerlock safety mechanism. The ergonomic handle with brown Burlap micarta scales promises a secure grip and gives the knife a touch of the Wild West. The clip is integrated into the back handle and allows for carrying when folded.
Comes with a high-quality nylon sheath.
