Product Description
The Casström Lars Fält knife is a durable bushcraft knife designed by the legend of bushcraft, Lars Fält. For many years, he has been a respected expert in the field of bushcraft and survival skills. He is the author of many books and has been organizing nature trips for years. If anyone knows what a good knife should be, it's Lars Fält.
The blade has a traditional Drop Point shape. It is an excellent blade shape for working with wood. The edge has a Scandinavian grind (Scandi). The blade is made of Sleipner steel. This type of steel is similar to D2 steel. It is very hard and easy to sharpen. After use, it is important to oil the blade. Sleipner steel is not stainless.
The handle is made of a beautiful piece of curly birch wood. It is wood from the root of a birch tree. Casström has stabilized this wood to make it as durable as possible. There is a black spacer between the wood and the handle. It looks amazing and also absorbs shocks between the handle and the blade.
As you are used to with Casström, the handle is designed very ergonomically. It fits perfectly in the hand, even during prolonged use.
The packaging includes a sturdy leather sheath for safe carrying.
