The Camp Hatchet, which is just over 30 centimeters long and weighs less than half a kilogram, is still a capable cutting tool for light branch removal, wood splitting for fire, and sharpening and driving tent stakes. In camp or on the go, the Camp Hatchet is a versatile tool with an innovative head design with secure screw attachment and a convenient handle exchange.
The head is made of durable 1055 carbon steel with a thin profile for quick, efficient cutting and deep penetration. The handle passes through the eye in the traditional way, while being secured in an innovative way using a screw. It provides a very secure handle grip and quick exchange, with the screw simply needing to be loosened with an Allen key.
The handle is made of genuine hickory. The handle is relatively straight with a generous upper part for comfortable grip during delicate work. The end of the handle is widened for optimal control.
Comes with a simple rubber blade cover.
