Hungary was a country on the map of the world that was influenced by both Eastern and Western culture. This influence, of course, was directly reflected in Hungarian weapons. The Hungarian sabre is primarily a cutting weapon favored by riders. The blade of this sabre is made of high carbon steel 1055. The typical guard of the Hungarian sabre has very wide solid arms, which offer greater protection for the hand and forearm. Due to their greater width, an experienced fencer can catch a blow aimed at their hand, wrist, or forearm with a smaller wrist twist. The handle is covered with leather and complemented by a massive steel pommel.

The leather scabbard is simply beautiful. Attractive fittings complement the historical design.
