Ancient Chinese Sword Breaker had a rectangular cross-section with sharp edges, allowing it to focus a strike with maximum impact. Such a blow could at least deflect the opponent's blade to the side or so far that early defense was practically impossible. In addition, this sword is true to its name and could break, bend, or disable conventional swords and many other weapons with a single stroke! Cold Steel drew inspiration for this design from the original antique Sword Breaker, which they had the privilege of studying in China. The thirty-inch long and beautifully wrought blade is made from 1050 carbon steel. The handle is made of heavy, dense rosewood with a grooved cross-section, allowing for a good grip. It is characterized by beautifully cast nickel-silver fittings, from the intricately detailed circular guard to the very robust pommel, which effectively balances the blade's weight and facilitates its control.

The scabbard is made of rosewood and contains traditional nickel-silver fittings.
