Great knife but mine came with some ugly blemishes on the brass guard, and some scratches on the steel blade near the guard, where I assume it was polished with some wire steel brush. Nothing some 5k grit sandpaper and some elbow grease won't fix, but for a brand new knife this is not ideally if you ask me. Other than that I'm quite impressed with this knife, I recommend it for sure!
