Product Description
The Fortis Fidelis Axe gets its name from the motto of the Chilean Marine Corps, which is "Fortis Atque Fidelis" (strong and faithful). Over 200 years ago, the navy was tasked with creating assault forces capable of fighting with rifles, machetes, and ship axes. This weapon revives the historical and traditional concept of fierce battles on water and becomes a modern tactical tool.
The base of the axe, with a full tang construction, is made of high carbon 1075 steel with a powder coating for increased corrosion resistance. The handle is made of durable micarta. There is a lanyard hole at the end of the handle.
The axe comes with a kydex sheath with a belt loop.
