In a survival situation, you would exchange a proper hatchet for almost anything. It can replace a saw, a large knife, and smaller survival knives to a great extent. When properly sharpened, it can also peel off bark and create extremely fine shavings for kindling. Condor axes with Greenlandic design are among those that can do all this and more. They are extremely comfortable to use, whether you hold them close to the head or at the end of the handle – they are simply very well balanced. Of course, on the other hand, the axes have a flat surface for hammering tent pegs and a hole for a cord for added safety during work. The head has a classic Condor surface treatment for increased corrosion resistance, a wooden handle made of American walnut, and a handmade leather protective sheath.
