The Shark Foot blade, featuring a plain edge, is constructed from Stonewashed tool steel D2, known for its superior corrosion resistance compared to most high-carbon steels. The blade opens smoothly with the aid of ball bearings, utilizing either the dual thumb stud or thumb hole. It is securely locked in place by the world-renowned Shark-Lock™ mechanism, located on the back of the knife.

The handle is made from black Grivory, a nearly indestructible plastic that withstands harsh weather conditions, chemicals, and mechanical damage.
