In 2017, this special model with laser engraving was released - JAS 39 Griffin NG - a limited edition collector's knife Fällkniven F1L3Gmm with a blade with a smooth edge made of laminated powder steel 3G. The guard is covered with a layer of 24 karat gold-plated silver. The handle is made of black Micarta with a lanyard hole. It comes with a leather sheath and a wooden gift box.
