Product Description

Fällkniven S1xb is a high-quality outdoor knife, ideal for many different situations. Bushcraft and survival enthusiasts, hunters, and other outdoor enthusiasts have known for years that Fällkniven produces amazing knives. This S1x is the full-tang version of the original Fällkniven S1.

The blade with a full-tang construction is made of high-quality laminated steel with a core of hard CoS steel, which is lined with softer steel. The handle is made of durable thermorun material with a smooth texture on the sides for better grip. There is a lanyard hole at the end of the handle.

The knife comes with a zytel sheath.

Such a great knife that I bought another as a reserve. This is a tank of a knife and along with the tungsten coating neigh on indestructible. On grips now after long term use are: Tip could be a bit thicker (hate the swedge), tha handle and finger guard hurt the hand a little with extensive use...wear gloves to counter this. Otherwise a great solid knife that can even do finer bushcrafting tasks but not for food prep. Recommended.

Awesome knife. Same specs as the S1x, which I also have and am very happy with, but with the S1xb it has an awesome and cool looking tungsten coating. Yes, I do realize that sharpening maybe a little harder, but the extra hardness provided (HRC 83) means less sharpening to do and less wear on the blade (I hope).
