The second generation of the extremely powerful Fenix HP30R V2.0 headlamp offers unparalleled performance of up to 3000 lumens (ANSI) and a beam distance of 270 meters. The excellent performance is achieved by using a powerful LED XHP50 and a pair of LED XP-G3 S4 with a warmer light tone. The headlamp is equipped with a long-range reflector and a pair of smaller reflectors with a wide light cone. Both reflectors are controlled separately, but they can also be turned on simultaneously in a combined mode. It uses two 21700 5000 mAh Li-ion batteries for power supply, which are included in the package and can be charged directly in the battery case via a USB-C connector.

The batteries are housed in a separate case on an adjustable cable, which can be worn on the back of the head, attached to a belt, placed in a pocket, or backpack. This increases the comfort of wearing and protects the batteries better against freezing in winter. The battery case is equipped with a battery capacity indicator and a USB output, so you can also use it as a portable power source (power bank) to charge your mobile phone or GPS navigation device.

The headlamp offers a total of 11 power modes. In the lowest mode with 50 lumens, it provides excellent endurance of up to 120 hours (5 days). The headlamp is powered by digitally regulated constant current to ensure a constant light output even as the battery voltage decreases (as the batteries discharge gradually). The HP30R V2.0 is particularly suitable for trail running, ski touring, night running, cycling, fishing, caving, expeditions, and other activities.

The body of the headlamp is made of an aluminum alloy used in the aerospace industry. This ensures excellent cooling and resistance to damage.

All parameters of the headlamp (luminous flux, battery operating time, waterproofness, beam distance, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Using the Fenix HP30R V2.0 headlamp
There may be a white insulating cover inside the battery case on the batteries from the factory. Remove it before first use.

Operation - the headlamp is operated by a rotary switch. In its central position, the headlamp is off.

Long-range reflector - to turn on the long-range reflector, rotate the switch clockwise, the headlamp turns on to the lowest power mode and by rotating, the power increases to the highest mode. By turning back, the power decreases.
Wide reflectors - when turning the switch counterclockwise, two LEDs for a wide light cone are turned on from the smallest to the highest mode, and in the opposite direction, the power decreases.
To activate the combined mode, it is necessary to turn on one of the main modes (long-range or wide) and briefly press the button on the side of the switch. The power of the combined mode then decreases or increases in accordance with the originally selected circuit. The combined mode can be turned off by partially pressing the side button (turns off one of the circuits) or by turning it completely to the center position.
The length of the cable connecting the headlamp to the battery case can be extended using the extension cable included in the package. Connect and disconnect the connectors by circular motion, do not pull them apart with force. After replacing the batteries, tighten the screw on the battery case thoroughly to ensure good waterproofing.

Battery status indication - by pressing the button on the battery case, the battery capacity indicator is activated (four illuminated LEDs 80 - 100%, three LEDs 60 - 80%, two LEDs 40 - 60%, one LED 20 - 40%, one flashing LED indicates less than 20% battery capacity).

Charging - open the rubber cover of the USB-C connector on the side of the headlamp and connect it to a computer, a USB network adapter, or a USB car adapter using the included USB-C cable. Alternatively, you can use any mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector for charging. During charging, the indicator LEDs on the battery case flash, and after full charge, they stay on continuously. Charging fully depleted batteries takes about 4.5 hours.

To activate the USB output (power bank function), connect the device you want to charge and press the button on the battery case. The activation of the USB output is indicated by the flashing LEDs on the case.

Intelligent overheating protection - if the temperature of the headlamp exceeds 60°C, it will automatically reduce the power until the temperature stabilizes. Once the temperature drops below 60°C, the power will automatically increase again. The operation on the highest power modes is not limited by time but only by temperature.

Warning:
Do not disassemble sealed parts yourself, as this will void the warranty.
Use only high-quality Li-ion batteries to prevent damage to the headlamp, such as leakage of battery substances.
If the headlamp flashes, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not turn on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
The batteries are almost depleted - charge them or replace them.
Make sure the connector on the cable between the headlamp and the battery case is securely connected.
The contacts in the battery holder are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab soaked in alcohol.
