Fenix HM70R is an extremely powerful rechargeable headlamp that offers a light output of up to 1600 lumens. The package also includes a rechargeable 21700 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 5000mAh, which can be charged directly in the headlamp via a USB-C connector. The headlamp is equipped with multiple light sources, the long-range reflector contains a Luminus SST-40 LED, which illuminates up to a distance of 186 meters. In the second, wide reflector, there is a Cree XP-G2 HE LED with a warmer shade (neutral white) and a power of 400 lumens, which has a very wide and smooth light footprint. The headlamp also has a red light with a power of 5 lumens. The red light is capable of shining at the lowest mode for almost 17 days and can continuously blink for more than 33 days.
The construction made of lightweight aluminum alloy ensures high durability, optimal cooling, and is fully waterproof according to the IP68 standard up to a depth of 2 meters underwater. It uses a high-performance Cree XP-G2 HE LED with a neutral shade of white light, Luminus SST-40 LED with a daylight shade of white light, and two additional red Everlight 2835 LEDs with a lifespan of 50,000 hours.
Long-range reflector: 1600 lumens (2 hours) -> 500 lumens (6 hours) -> 150 lumens (30 hours) -> 30 lumens (100 hours).
Wide reflector: 400 lumens (8 hours) -> 70 lumens (48 hours) -> red 5 lumens (400 hours) -> red blinking 5 lumens (800 hours).
Light output and runtime are measured with the included 21700 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 5000mAh.
The long-range reflector creates a beam with a distance of 186 meters (8667 cd), the wide reflector illuminates up to a distance of 38 meters (352 cd), the red light has a range of 5 meters (8 cd).
