Fenix PD36 TAC is a very powerful tactical flashlight with simple operation and the ability to quickly activate the strobe mode. It is equipped with the latest LED LUMINUS SST-70 and provides a light output of up to 3000 lumens (ANSI) and a beam distance of up to 274 meters. The package includes a rechargeable 21700 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, which can be charged via its own USB-C connector. The flashlight is equipped with a rotary switch that can lock the control or choose one of two usage modes. In tactical mode, the flashlight can be turned on to 2000 lumens or strobe mode. In service mode, you can choose between five lighting modes and strobe mode. In the lowest mode, it can shine for up to 160 hours. The precise and waterproof design makes this tactical light primarily suitable for demanding outdoor conditions. It serves well for security forces, search and rescue operations, as well as hunting.

All flashlight parameters (light output, battery runtime, water resistance, beam distance, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Usage
Using the rotary switch at the end of the flashlight, you can choose between lighting modes, which have different controls.

Tactical mode (rotary switch in the left position): Press the tactical button at the end of the flashlight to turn it on, hold the button for instant activation. The flashlight always activates in the highest mode. To activate the strobe, hold the button for 0.8 seconds (works even when turned off). Holding it down will return the flashlight to the original mode. Press the button to turn off the flashlight.

Service mode (rotary switch in the right position): Press the tactical button at the end of the flashlight to turn it on, hold the button for instant activation. The flashlight remembers the last selected mode (except strobe). The lighting modes (except strobe) can be cyclically changed by pressing the button. To activate the strobe, hold the button for 0.8 seconds (even from the off state). Pressing it returns the flashlight to the original mode. Press the button to turn off the flashlight.

In the middle position of the rotary switch, it is possible to lock the control button. If the flashlight is off, it cannot be turned on. If it is on, the control will be locked in the currently set lighting mode, and the control button will not respond. To reactivate the tactical button, it is necessary to switch the switch to tactical or service mode.

When using the remote switch, only the highest constant lighting mode is available.

Intelligent overheat protection - if the temperature of the flashlight exceeds 60°C, it will gradually reduce the output in steps until the temperature drops below the safe limit. After cooling below 60°C, full output can be used again.

Low battery warning - the flashlight gradually switches to the lowest output and blinks three times every five minutes.

Charging - remove the battery from the flashlight and connect it to the side USB-C connector using a USB cable. During charging, the indicator on the positive pole of the battery lights up red. When fully charged, it will light up blue or green. The built-in USB-C connector has a charging current of 2A. The charging time takes approximately 3-4 hours.
