Operation:
The Klarus RS11 is designed with a dual switch system. The primary tactical button near the reflector activates the light with a press—releasing it turns the light off. A deeper press keeps it on continuously. A smaller button adjacent to the main switch allows for mode switching.
Maintenance Tips:
If the O-rings appear worn, replace them and apply lubricant to prevent rubber degradation, ensuring the flashlight remains shielded from environmental factors. If the flashlight flickers or fails to illuminate, potential causes include:
Low batteries: Recharge or replace as necessary.
Dirty contacts: Clean and apply Deoxid or a similar contact cleaner.
Loose head, body, or tailcap: Lubricate the O-rings and tighten securely.
Battery polarity: Insert batteries with the positive pole facing the head to prevent damage.
Li-ion batteries: Avoid complete discharge to prolong battery life. Recharge promptly if brightness significantly decreases.
