Operation:
The Klarus RS16 is controlled using a tactical switch near the reflector. A light press activates the flashlight, and gently pressing cycles through the modes. Fully pressing the switch locks in the chosen mode.
Maintenance Tips:
If the O-rings appear damaged, replace and lubricate them regularly to prevent rubber degradation, ensuring protection from environmental factors. If the flashlight flickers or fails to illuminate, it may be due to:
Low battery: Recharge or replace as needed.
Dirty contacts: Clean contacts and apply Deoxid or another contact cleaner.
Loose parts: Lubricate the O-rings and securely tighten the head, body, or tailcap.
Battery polarity: Insert batteries with the positive pole facing the head to prevent damage.
Li-ion batteries: Avoid complete discharge to prolong battery life. Recharge if brightness significantly diminishes.
This flashlight provides intense brightness, so avoid looking directly into the beam and ensure it’s not directed at others' eyes.
