The Fox-Knives YARU folding pocket knife is an appealing EDC knife crafted by renowned knifemaker Jesper Voxnaes. Its design resembles the well-known Suru, yet it features some distinct differences.

The blade, of the Reverse Tanto style, is crafted from Black stone washed PVD stainless steel M398. This material offers superior wear resistance and maintains sharpness longer, though it is slightly less tough and a bit more challenging to sharpen compared to M390. It features a flipper tab and thumb hole openers, paired with a ball bearing pivot. The knife is equipped with a robust liner lock mechanism that secures the blade in the open position.

The handle is constructed from burgundy Micarta, known for its grip, relative lightness, and stylish appearance. Made from fabric fibers and synthetic resin, the layered composition often gives Micarta a wood-like appearance. Despite this, it remains a very stable and durable material. The knife comes with a tip-up titanium pocket clip, allowing for both right and left-side carry.
