The Fox Knives Metamorphosis FX-556 is a knife that exudes uniqueness and innovation. The concept for the Fox Metamorphosis originated from Gabriele Frati, the CEO of Fox Knives. His vision? A premium pocket knife that is fully customizable. This is why the knife was crafted by Denis Simonutti, the creator of the Radius lock.
This particular model of the Fox Metamorphosis features a sheepsfoot blade made from Damasteel. This is the leading producer of high-quality damascus steels, based in Sweden. The intricate wavy pattern of this steel is stunning and ensures each knife is one-of-a-kind. The handle provides a striking contrast to the front of the knife; the understated PVD-coated titanium handle offers a peek into the construction, complemented by a black 3K carbon fiber backspacer. This is a type of carbon fiber with exceptionally high density.
You can open and secure the pocket knife with the Radius lock. One button to open or close the knife, and to lock it. A groundbreaking invention that no other brand has been able to replicate. A new aspect of the Metamorphosis is that the Radius lock has been adapted to also permit 'regular' opening of the blade, using the flipper. Consequently, handling this knife is even faster than before, without sacrificing safety.
