Product Description
Gerber Controller Salt filleting knife is a solid tool for fishermen designed for filleting. Gerber collaborated with experienced fishermen to create an optimized design. The long blade made of thin 9Cr18MoV steel has proven to be excellent for precise fish filleting. This blade is slightly flexible, which makes the task easier. Thanks to the choice of stainless steel 9Cr18MoV, the blade is durable and sharp. Its surface is finely polished, making it easy to clean.
This version of the Controller belongs to the Salt series, which you recognize by the blue handle. Salt knives are particularly suitable for sea fishing.
Gerber Controller is excellently gripped thanks to the well-thought-out handle made of multiple materials: thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN). Both materials provide a reliable grip even in moisture. Texture and finger grooves on the handle strengthen the grip and prevent the knife from slipping during filleting. The thumb finds its place in the groove on the handle, providing additional control over the tool while working.
The sheath offers excellent functionality. Ventilation holes ensure that the sheath can be thoroughly cleaned after use. The sheath securely holds the knife in place with a snap. The sheath features a belt loop and a robust clip, allowing convenient carrying on a backpack, belt, or pocket. The inner part of the sheath is equipped with a sharpening stone, which allows easy knife sharpening wherever you are.
