Gerber Flatiron is a robust pocket knife with a blade shaped like a cleaver. This characteristic blade shape is often associated with butcher knives and has proven itself in the kitchen with its straight edge.
The blade has a rough stone surface and is made of D2 steel, which is reliable and can be easily sharpened. However, you need to be careful about rust because D2 is not completely corrosion-resistant. The Gerber Flatiron knife is comfortably opened with an extended thumb hole. The finger groove at the beginning of the blade provides better control and prevents unwanted finger movement during use. Safety is always a top priority.
The handle combines stainless steel and micarta. The rough surface of the micarta handle ensures a reliable grip, preventing the knife from slipping out of your hand.
