Model Airlock is part of the Starter series of knives from Kershaw. The entire series is designed to provide maximum functionality and reliability - for less money. Airlock has a sleek modern look with a distinctive cutout in the handle that highlights the shape of the handle.

The blade, made of stainless steel 4Cr14, opens with a flipper assisted opening and is held in the open position by a linerlock safety. The scales are made of GFN material, which is reinforced with steel liners for added strength. The handle has a lanyard hole and a pocket clip, which is dual-position and can be moved as needed.
