Leatherman is an American company specializing in the production of high-quality multi-tools and knives. It is based in Portland, Oregon. This company was founded in 1983 by Timothy S. Leatherman and Steve Berliner. The goal of this duo was to create and bring to market their idea of practical and handy folding hand tools with multiple functions. Leatherman sold its first multitool, the PST (Pocket Survival Tool), that same year.
The RAPTOR RESPONSE model is a tool designed and manufactured primarily for rescue personnel in both civilian and military sectors. In addition to folding scissors, it contains other practical tools. The medical scissors are made of durable 420HC steel. They are combined with ring cutters and the blade features a 5 cm ruler. The scissors are equipped with a lanyard hole and a pocket clip for carrying.
