Specialist in knives and blades, Böker exclusively brings an international selection of the best knife brands from around the world. LionSteel was established in 1969 in the town of Maniago, where knife production is as traditional as in Solingen, Germany. It was founded by Mr. Gino Pauletta and focused primarily on contract manufacturing of knives for other producers. A few years later, the company produced its first type of knife according to its own design, giving rise to the LionSTEEL brand.

The factory gave its name to a stone statue of a lion standing in front of the building, and also to the material from which the knives are made. In the late 90s, three sons of the founder, John, Daniel, and Maximus, also joined the company. Currently, LionSteel sells its products not only in Europe, but also in the USA. Their focus is on manufacturing knives of the highest quality. The company's philosophy is to supply knives exclusively made in Italy. None of the knives or their components are made in Asia.

The Lionsteel SR-11 Aluminium Orange folding hunting knife has an orange aluminum handle. The smooth black blade is made of Sleipner steel with a black surface finish. It features a flipper opener and a reversible clip for ambidextrous opening. It has a Framelock mechanism and the blade has double ball bearing and a glass breaker.
