KA-BAR Kukri Machete 1249, a suitable machete for wilderness stays. The Kukri is a robust machete often used by Gurkhas in Nepal. Ideal for chopping.

KA-BAR Kukri has the same Kraton handle as other knives from KA-BAR. It is incredibly comfortable to hold. Even when it's freezing outside.

The blade is made of carbon steel 1095. Ideal for use in thick vegetation for chopping small branches. For chopping thick branches or trunks, it is best to use an axe or saw.

KA-BAR Kukri Machete 1249 comes with a nylon sheath with a plastic insert.

Výborně se drží a jde do seku, pouzdro by mohlo být více propracované, ale to je detail. Za sebe mohu doporučit.

It's very handy, even for those who don't have very big hands. The blade is menacing. I don't know what its breaking point is, but it seems solid and strong. Besides that, it is easy to handle for outdoor activities and with some knowledge, it can be used in self-defense cases as well.

Vyborna vec do auta na rybacku a polovacku. Nahrada za sekeru vo vsetkych situaciach, teda okrem chystania palivoveho dreva. Ale pre cistenie, presekavanie alebo upravu super. Pouzil som aj doma v sade na vysekanie vysokej zeliny a naletu kde uz bola 3mm kosiaca struna krovinorezu slaba. Predtym som pouzival macetu Fiskars woodexpert xa3 ta tiez fungovala ale toto je mensie ale rovnako vykonne.
