Product Description
Cleanliness, diligence, and humility were among the basic qualities of samurais. As a tribute to the famous warriors of feudal Japan, the Boker Magnum Akito Wakizashi represents these qualities. The short sword was once allowed to be carried only by respected individuals in society and proved its advantages over the katana, especially in close combat. The sword is adorned with many details that resemble the spirit of the samurai. This is a decorative or collectible sword, unsuitable for use!
The blade made of stainless carbon steel has a traditional bo-hi (groove), while the wooden handle has an embellished tsuba, menuki (decorative elements under the handle's wrapping), and black tsuka-ito (ribbon on the handle). Japanese characters line the reddish-brown wooden saya (scabbard) with a typical sageo cord for attaching to the belt.
