Product Description
Cleanliness, diligence, and humility were among the basic qualities of samurais. As a tribute to the famous warriors of feudal Japan, the Boker Magnum Akito Wakizashi represents. The short sword used to be allowed to be carried only by respected individuals in society and demonstrated its advantages over the katana especially in close combat. The sword is adorned with many details that bring forth the spirit of the samurai. It is a decorative or collector's sword, unsuitable for use!
The blade made of stainless carbon steel has a traditional bo-hi (groove), while the wooden handle has decorated tsuba, menuki (decorative elements under the grip wrap), and sand-brown tsuka-ito (ribbon on the handle). The light-brown wooden saya (scabbard for the sword) has a typical sageo cord for attaching to the belt.
