Breacher utilizes a joint made of dense thermoplastic rubber (TPR), anatomically shaped to match the natural curvature of the hand. The molded TPR joint is designed to withstand impacts and strong abrasion, protecting the operator's hands during missions.

Breacher is equipped with the latest materials in the field of science. The gloves are made of flame-resistant Nomex® fabric and flame-resistant leather, providing military and SWAT professionals with ASTM D6413 flame resistance and NFPA 1971-07 heat resistance. Breacher is constructed with an emphasis on integrity even in the most demanding conditions, which is why the gloves are reinforced with Kevlar. Like all Mechanix Wear Tactical Specialty gloves, Breacher is equipped with intelligent technology throughout the palm to meet the growing demand for touchscreen control in the field. No fabrics or silicone. Only goat leather with touchscreen capability.
