Mikov
The company Mikov, based in the Czech Republic, continues the traditional production that began in the town of Mikulášovice in the 18th century. The first products included knives, daggers, sabers, and scissors. Through gradual transformation, the company has expanded its offerings to include office supplies. Many models have been on the market for decades and have become iconic. For example, the Rybička knife, the first knife for young boys, is now a source of nostalgia for many.
In 1974, the Uton knife, a military knife intended for the Czechoslovak People's Army, was introduced and is still produced today, being particularly popular among outdoor enthusiasts. The Predátor knife, an automatic-opening knife, also originated in the 1970s and is available in various versions, including models with Damascus blades for discerning customers. The Mikov brand offers knives for hunters, including fixed and folding knives, pocket and sport knives, work knives, custom-made knives, and kitchen knives for home use, professional chefs, and butchers.
