The steel, which extends throughout the entire length of the handle, gives the knife greater stability and strength, which you will appreciate. With this blade, you will work easily, precisely, and get to all the details. The handle is made of birch wood, larger for proper grip. The natural material gives the knife a natural feel.

Morakniv came with an environmentally friendly philosophy many years ago. To highlight their approach to nature, they also demonstrate it on a series of their knives with wooden handles. Birch handles stained with oil now have different textures, some darker, others lighter. On one knife, you can see a distinct fiber pattern, on another, it is only visible in hints.
The production of the blade is also unique. 3 layers of steel are joined into one strong and durable blade under tremendous forces in the rolling mill. There, the blade acquires its distinctive appearance with small indentations that become apparent in the final sharpening. They do not affect the lifespan or functionality of the knife, but excessive sharpening for a smooth blade would make it so thin that it would not meet Morakniv's demanding standards for their products.
