Muela knives are produced by a Spanish company that manufactures affordable and high-quality hunting knives, folding knives, luxury knives, and many others. The company Muela uses different types of steel for blade production, such as 12C27 Sandvik, 14C28N, molybdenum-vanadium steel MOVA 60 with a hardness of 57-61 HRC, Inox 1-42 steel with a hardness of 54-58 HRC, and blades marked 440 are made from Mova-60E steel. Muela Damascus knives are the result of a combination of two steels, RWL34 and MPC27, which have a hardness of 57-62 HRC.

Muela knife handles are decorated with high-quality materials including horn and various types of wood: olive, Africa Blackwood, Kingwood, Cocobolo, Amazonas Rosewood, and walnut wood.
