The Short Bladed Rockeye, abbreviated as SBR, is the compact left-handed variant of the well-known Rockeye Auto. Both models were crafted by Marine Corps knife designer Les George, whose ergonomic designs for heavy-duty use were expertly adapted by Pro-Tech to fulfill the requirements of automatic knives.

The SBR boasts a compact design with a CPM-S-35VN blade made through powder metallurgy, suitable for a wide range of cutting tasks. CPM-S-35VN is celebrated for its superior edge retention, toughness, and resistance to corrosion. The blade's stonewash finish provides a rugged, matte appearance that conceals scratches and wear, making it an excellent choice for those in need of a dependable, long-lasting tool.

The handle is constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum, an aerospace-grade alloy known for its strength, lightweight nature, and durability.
