The Drop Point blade with a plain edge is crafted from black-coated K110 steel. Featuring a defined false edge, it enhances both cutting and piercing abilities. The knife can be easily opened with one hand using the thumb stud. Once deployed, the robust Crossbar Lock secures the blade, preventing accidental closure during use. A notable feature of this lock is its ambidextrous usability, catering to both left-handed and right-handed individuals. The term 'Crossbar Lock' is a generic descriptor for this type of locking mechanism. The Axis Lock, originally developed by Benchmade, serves as the foundation for this mechanism.
