The folding pocket knife Real Steel Sacra RE-7712B is an impressive everyday carry (EDC) knife with a tactical design. It is ideal for daily tasks but is also capable of handling more challenging jobs. Despite its robust capabilities, the knife remains lightweight, making it convenient to carry in your pocket all day long.
The blade, featuring a modified Tanto style with a plain edge, is crafted from black-coated K110 steel. The defined false edge enhances its cutting and piercing abilities.
The knife can be easily opened with one hand using the thumb stud. Once opened, the reliable Crossbar Lock secures the blade, preventing accidental closure during use. A notable advantage of this lock is its ambidextrous usability, catering to both left-handed and right-handed users.
The term 'Crossbar Lock' is a general descriptor for this type of locking mechanism. The original concept, known as the Axis Lock, was developed by Benchmade. Today, many manufacturers adopt this mechanism, sometimes under different names.
The handle is made from black G10, a composite material consisting of glass fiber and synthetic resin. Its subtle texture provides a comfortable grip. Additionally, the reversible deep-carry clip supports ambidextrous use.
