Product Description
The folding pocket knife Reel Steel Sylph RE-7141 derives its name from 'sylph', an air spirit, inspired by the concept of layered integral handle construction. It is designed by Jakub Wieczorkiewicz of Poltergeist Works.
The blade is of Drop Point style with a plain edge, crafted from Satin finished German steel Nitro-V. This stainless steel is known for its ease of sharpening. Nitro-V is also notably tough and maintains its sharpness effectively.
The knife can be opened with one hand using the thumb stud. It operates on phosphor bronze washers, ensuring smooth action. Once opened, the liner lock secures the blade, preventing accidental closure.
The handle is constructed from two double-folded pieces of stainless steel. As implied by the name, this steel is resistant to rust, though not entirely rustproof, so it is advisable to keep it clean and dry. It features a deep-carry pocket clip for both right and left-hand carry.
