Its optimized chemical composition, with a unique combination, delivers superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness, and corrosion resistance. By reducing carbon content to 0.62% and increasing chromium to 14.0%, along with adding 0.11% nitrogen, its corrosion resistance is significantly enhanced. It is considered an improved version of 13C26 steel, offering unbeatable value in the price/quality category! The blade is a drop point type, coated with a black titanium-based finish. It features a long cutting edge with a prominent belly, tapering to a needle-sharp tip on a wide wedge. The blade's thickness ensures high strength, while the high, flat grind provides excellent cutting capabilities. Ceramic ball bearings ensure smooth blade deployment. The knife can be quickly opened with a front flipper, a double-sided thumb stud, or by gravity. The upper jimping wedge on the back has a notched thumb rest, and the knife uses a Button Lock mechanism. The handle is made from Linen Micarta (pressure-pressed linen with synthetic resin), textured for improved grip confidence, and bolted to the knife's steel frame. The solid backspacer to which the grips are attached ensures the structure's rigidity and strength. A single-position (right) steel deep-carry clip allows for discreet pocket carry in a tip-up position (blade tip up). The decorative ring around the pivot, known as the pivot collar, is crafted from blue anodized titanium. The hidden recess in the backspacer provides a space for threading a safety or decorative cord.
