Its drop point blade is crafted from color Damascus steel, featuring a one-of-a-kind pattern. The blade can be swiftly opened with one hand using the double-sided peg or by gravity, which is particularly beneficial in urgent situations. The handle, made from lightweight and durable titanium, incorporates an innovative Axle Lock that allows the knife to be folded while keeping fingers away from the blade's path. The Color Damascus is made from 10CR15MOV steel, combined with small amounts of other steels and alloys, repeatedly forged and folded to create its distinctive pattern, giving the knife its unique character. The Axis Lock, also known as the Crossbar Lock, involves a crossbar that moves horizontally within the steel side plates of the handle frame. When the knife is opened, the locking bar overlaps the blade's back, preventing it from closing. This bar is held down by two springs, and unlocking is achieved by pulling the bar back, accessible through cutouts in the handle grips. The Axle Lock is resistant to contamination, insensitive to dynamic loads, and easy to operate with either hand. The blade, of the Drop Point type, is finished with acid etching to highlight the Damascus patterns. Its long cutting edge, with a pronounced belly, tapers to a needle-sharp tip. The blade's thickness ensures high strength, while the high, flat grind offers excellent cutting capabilities. Ceramic ball bearings ensure smooth blade operation. The knife can be opened with a double-sided peg or by gravity, with the Axis Lock securing it. The handle is made from thick, sandblasted titanium 6AL4V, beautifully milled with CNC tools and adorned with Lightning Storm pattern inlays. The titanium backspacer ensures the structure's rigidity and strength. The simple yet robust construction promises years of use. A two-position titanium clip allows for tip-up carry, and the decorative pivot collar is made from gold anodized titanium.
