Product Description

The WD107 Titanium / Carbon Fiber is a remarkable folding knife crafted by Remette Knives, blending superior construction with practical everyday functionality. Its handle features a distinctive mix of titanium bolster and Carbon Fiber composite grips. The blade is crafted from premium Böhler M390 steel, known for its outstanding wear and corrosion resistance, as well as its ability to retain sharpness over time. This makes the WD107 versatile for various tasks, whether in the kitchen, on a hike, or for daily use. Its size is ideal for everyday carry, fitting comfortably in a pants or jacket pocket. Beyond being a tool, it serves as an elegant addition to any collection, with its quality, durability, and functionality ensuring long-lasting appreciation. M390 is a high-performance martensitic chrome steel made through powder metallurgy. Its alloy composition grants it exceptional wear and corrosion resistance, maintaining edge sharpness with minimal upkeep. It resists "wire" formation during sharpening and contains 20.0% chromium, 1.9% carbon, and 4.0% vanadium, with a hardness of 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels and is produced by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria. The blade is a drop point type, hand-ground to achieve a pearlescent finish. Its elongated belly increases the cutting edge length relative to the blade, tapering to a needle-sharp tip. The blade's thickness ensures strength, while the high, flat grind provides excellent cutting geometry and performance. Ceramic ball bearings facilitate smooth blade operation, which can be opened by gravity using a release button on the handle or a thumb stud. The upper jimping wedge features a notched thumb rest, and the blade is secured with a reliable button lock. The handle includes 6AL4V titanium bolsters and Carbon Fiber grips, with chamfered edges to eliminate sharpness. The grips are attached to a sturdy titanium backspacer, ensuring structural integrity. A wide Button Lock button is recessed to prevent accidental opening. A single-position (right) titanium deep-carry clip allows discreet pocket carry in a tip-up position, with a lanyard hole above for attaching a safety or decorative cord. The knife comes with a zippered soft nylon case featuring the manufacturer's logo for safe storage and transport.
