Its alloy composition provides exceptional wear and corrosion resistance. The high wear resistance ensures the blade maintains its edge shape, staying sharp for extended periods with minimal upkeep. It also resists forming a "wire" edge during sharpening. The steel contains 20.0% chromium, 1.9% carbon, 4.0% vanadium, and is hardened to 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels and is manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria. The **Blade** is a drop point type, finished with hand grinding. It features a long cutting edge with a pronounced belly, tapering to a needle-sharp tip. The blade's thickness ensures high strength, while the high, flat grind offers excellent cutting capabilities. Ceramic ball bearings facilitate the smooth operation of the blade deployment mechanism. The knife can be quickly opened with a front flipper or using a double-sided thumb stud. The upper jimping wedge on the back provides a notched thumb rest. The **Handle** consists of thick sandblasted titanium 6AL4V pieces, beautifully milled using CNC machine tools.
