Spyderco Chaparral is a series of unique knives where a new model with a unique handle is added every year. Striking, rare materials and texture patterns are used.
As the next addition to the unique Chaparral series, Spyderco Chaparral Lightweight offers the same design and functionality, but with a lightweight FRN handle. The robust construction made of reinforced fiberglass nylon (FRN) minimizes weight, and stainless steel liners ensure excellent structural strength. Like other versions of the Chaparral model, its distinctive features include a CTS XHP stainless steel blade with a smooth edge secured by a Backlock mechanism. To open the knife, it utilizes a round hole on the blade for ambidextrous one-handed opening, and there is a reversible wire clip on the handle.
