Product Description
"Zome" is a classic Japanese coloring method that is closely related to many aspects of the culture and history of this country. The Spyderco Zome knife family, inspired by this rich artistic heritage, includes unique hand-painted variations of popular lightweight models with injection-molded nylon (FRN) handles reinforced with glass fibers. The handles of these knives are first shaped into a light base color and then individually hand-painted by skilled Japanese craftsmen using a technique reminiscent of traditional hiki-zome (brush coloring). In this meticulous method, various colors are hand-applied to the handle with brushes to create distinctive patterns of a unique type.
The Spyderco Endura 4 Lightweight Green Zome is a combination of functionality and unique design. Despite its size, it is incredibly lightweight, and you won't even know you have it when you carry it. It is designed to cut and slice well, and it has a very fine point suitable for detailed work. The blade is made of high-quality Japanese VG-10 stainless steel, and the handle is made of hand-painted FRN material. The knife is equipped with a steel clip for comfortable pocket carrying.
