Spyderco C41SYL5 Native 5 Salt Lightweight Yellow LC200N
The Native 5 Salt blade is made of precisely worked LC200N steel. It is a nitrogen-enhanced tool steel. Its main advantage is exceptional corrosion resistance. Therefore, the knife is suitable primarily for water sports or work near water. It is sharpened from the top edge of the blade, which helps with increased cutting performance. The blade is serrated along its entire cutting edge, almost to the tip. You will appreciate the serrated edge especially when cutting ropes and cords. It opens with a round hole in the blade, characteristic of Spyderco. The blade is secured by a back lock mechanism after opening. The handle of the knife is made by injection molding from hard nylon (FRN). It is produced in a highly visible yellow color, typical for the Salt series. It is slightly shaped with a fine non-slip treatment. To increase strength, the liners are backed by embedded steel inserts. The pocket clip is made of steel, matte black, and four-position, meaning you have four attachment options. There is a hole on the handle for using a lanyard.
