Product Description
Promising distances, the sound of waves, and an seemingly endless ocean. On its first voyage from New York to Southampton in June 1895, a lively holiday atmosphere prevailed aboard the ship S.S. St. Louis. With its steam engine, S.S. St. Louis was one of the largest and most powerful ocean liners under the American flag at the turn of the century. The steamboat, primarily designed for transatlantic transportation between America and Europe, was temporarily used for the transport of troops during the Spanish-American War and the First World War.
Boker presents American Line S.S. St. Louis, a new historical edition straight razor, limited to 300 pieces worldwide, which brings back the splendor of bygone times. The impressive ship is adorned with nearly the entire front part of a polished carbon steel blade. The blade is marked with the historical stamp of H. Boker & Co. The material used for the handle is noble ebony, which, thanks to its dark color, resembles the hull of the S.S. St. Louis. The motif on the blade, as well as the historical seal, are meticulously restored and engraved using laser technology.
Delivered in a lovingly crafted historical box.
