Product Description
Böker P08 Damascus 121515DAM is a fixed blade knife with a historical reference. Lüger P08 is a world-famous pistol that was used in Germany from 1904 to 1945. It is one of the most iconic weapons of the first and second world wars. This pistol was also used outside Germany - the Dutch navy and air force used P08 in the 1920s, the French used over 4000 pieces after World War II, and even in Norway, P08 became the standard service pistol after 1945.
Böker used this pistol as a source of inspiration for this fixed blade knife. The handle design immediately reminds you of the P08 pistol.
The knife not only resembles the P08. The material is closely related to the pistol. Böker asked Chad Nichols to forge Damascus steel from the same steel used to produce the barrel. The handle is made of Rosewood. It is a tropical hardwood species.
It comes with a nice leather sheath.
This knife was produced in limited quantities. Each knife is numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
