By reducing the size and weight of this popular knife, we have not deprived it of its effectiveness. The wide blade of the knife is made of stainless steel 8Cr13MoV, which exhibits a hardness of 57-58 Rockwell after heat treatment. There is a stainless steel handguard between the blade and the Kray-Ex ™ handle.

This massive guard prevents the hand from slipping onto the blade, especially when performing stabbing techniques. The perfectly shaped handle of the knife made of Kraton material (Long Kray-Ex ™) offers a non-slip surface. Kray-Ex ™ is a soft and flexible synthetic polymer. It fits perfectly in the hand and allows for very delicate work with the knife in wet and muddy conditions. The knife is supplied with a Secure-Ex® sheath. The subtle and comfortable sheath is suitable for concealed carry of the knife worn around the neck using a safety chain. It can be easily concealed under clothing and does not cause discomfort during long-time wear. The sheath can be attached with a C-Clip handle from Cold Steel® (SACLB), so the knife can also be worn on a belt.
